Sold ALD when it got too low a yield and bought more ACAS. Will buy again at less than $20 if dividend holds up. Was this user's rating of 'ALD' helpful to you?

I like both ALD & ACAS and I own both. I think that ALD has less long term risk then ACAS and the lower yield is justified. I think that their investments in CMBS helps provide some stability to their earnings as well as investment diversity. Many see BLX (ALD's largest holding)as a problem due to disclosure issues. I however believe it is an excelent business fit and extends ALD to small business finance at low risk levels. If the companies that BLX services have a positive experience now, who will they turn to, in the future, when they are medium sized businesses? ALD. ACAS's agressive growth plans are a little scary to me in this time when many are trying to just survive. If they are sucessful there will be a big payoff. If they are not?
